Wendy's Allergy Menu: Allergens and Ingredients List November 2026
Wendy’s allergen notes start with milk, wheat, soy, egg, and sesame. Chili lists no wheat but its saltine packet does, and shared fryers still matter if you eat gluten-free.
A Cobb salad from Wendy’s. Toppings and dressing change the allergen picture, so open the item you actually plan to order.
Official item pages and restaurant nutrition posters list allergens too. Use both if someone in the car has a medically required diet.
If milk, wheat, soy, egg, or sesame is a problem for you, this is the page I keep bookmarked. You can scan the usual allergens here, then open a single item if you want the build.
Wendy’s kitchens are shared. Chili and some baked potatoes list no wheat, but the saltine packet served with chili does, and fries, nuggets, and sandwiches share oil and prep space. That is why this is not a gluten-free restaurant even when an ingredient list looks clean.
In the US, Wendy’s flags the nine major FDA allergens: milk, egg, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soybeans, and sesame. Canada adds mustard and sulphites to a longer list.
If you have a medically required diet, read Wendy’s official allergen chart too, and tell the crew before they make the food. This guide helps you plan. It does not replace that conversation.

Wendy's Ingredients List: Where to Find It
Wendy's publishes the full ingredient list for each US menu item on wendys.com and in the Wendy's app, next to the nutrition panel. Wendy's tracks the nine major FDA allergens on the US menu: milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soybean, and sesame. The Canadian menu follows Health Canada's 12 priority allergens; Health Canada's priority allergen list also includes mustard and sulphites.
Wendy's also says cross-contact is possible because restaurants share handling and prep areas, so no item is guaranteed allergen-free. Use this Wendy's allergy menu to plan, then read the official ingredient list for anything you order often.
Do Wendy's Nuggets Have Egg or Dairy?
Wendy's US chicken nuggets are breaded, so wheat is the allergen to watch. The US ingredient statement we reviewed does not list milk or egg as nugget ingredients, but the nuggets share fryer oil with items that do, so Wendy's does not sell them as dairy-free or egg-free.
The dipping sauce is often the bigger issue. Wendy's lists egg in Signature Sauce and Honey Mustard, and both egg and milk in Creamy Ranch. Check Wendy's nugget sizes and prices for each box and Wendy's sauce allergens before you dip.
Does Wendy's Use Peanut Oil?
No. Wendy's ingredient statements list its fry oil as a vegetable oil blend built on soybean oil, which may also contain canola, corn, or cottonseed oil. Peanut oil is not part of that blend.
Peanuts are still one of the nine allergens Wendy's tracks, and the fryers are shared with wheat, milk, and fish items. See what Wendy's cooks its fries in for the oil details, and are Wendy's Frostys gluten-free if you are building a dessert order around an allergy.

How to use this allergen guide
In the US, Wendy’s flags the nine major FDA allergens: milk, egg, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soybeans, and sesame. Canada adds mustard and sulphites to that list. A clean ingredient list still does not mean the kitchen is free of cross-contact.

Common questions
Does Wendy’s still serve these items in 2026?
This guide reflects the current US core menu plus limited-time items when they are running. Availability can vary by restaurant.
Are the prices the same at every Wendy’s?
No. Prices on Wendy-Menus are typical US estimates. Your local franchise may charge more or less.
Is Wendy’s gluten-free?
Wendy’s is not a gluten-free kitchen. A few items list no wheat (chili without its saltine packet, some baked potatoes, some salads without crispy toppings), but shared prep still risks contact. Read this allergen guide, then Wendy’s official allergen chart if you need a medical-level list.
Can I download the Wendy’s allergen menu as a PDF?
Yes. This page has a free 2-page PDF of the Wendy’s allergen menu (62 KB) with the same tables and typical figures shown on the page. Prices vary by restaurant, so confirm your total in the Wendy’s app before you order.
